The Xiengkhouang Assistance Association for Rehabilitating the Quality of Life for People with Disabilities and UXO Survivors (Quality of Life Association for short) is working with Hmong women in Xiengkhouang Province in Laos, teaching them to make laptop bags using traditional Hmong appliqué methods and naturally dyed Lao silk. The women are UXO [unexploded ordnance] survivors or caregivers for those injured by land mines.  There’s no way to donate to the organization directly as yet, but donations made through the World Education Laos website (http://www.laos.worlded.org) will reach the group.
